Toe Fafanu measina Samoa – Reviving Samoa’s great treasures:
We believe when things take a wrong turn we turn to the begining of our journey to see where we went wrong. Life and technology move very fast up in the employment word… Leaving those that can not catch up behind with minimal levels of education and skills for employment. As technology continues to move forward, our cultural and traditional treasures are slowly drifting away, with only afew left out there that know how to weave a fine mat, create cultural handicrafts and elei printing to name afew. No matter how fast the world changes around us our measina Samoa/treasured good are of high demand and we believe this is a skill that needs to be revived in our communities. This can provide financial support for many who are unemployed but can also be a way we can revive whats left of our cultural skills and traditions for our future generations to come.
SKILLS-BUILDING PROGRAMS:
We believe in the sustainability and independence of each individual. We provide skills building programs to all our victims, survivers and the public that wish to learn any new skills provided under our services. Our skill-building programs ranges depending on the skills we feel fits the needs of our community.
